Into the final of IW Masters without dropping a set.

The 2nd place became 275 ranking points nearer.

The game's clicking on all cylinders: the semi was far easier than I expected.

PS. That point in the 1st set when Nole ran back from the net, lost his racquet, picked it up and won the point on a bh winner crosscourt, was really something else.

After fucking up his section of the draw for good, Haas pulls out of the quarterfinal citing sinus infection - Fed gets a walkover to the semis, where he's gonna play Mardy Fish.

Mardy Fish for crying out loud. 

He beat Fat Dave in a third set tiebreak after blowing a few matchpoins earlier and after Nalby served for the match at 6-5 in the 3rd. To be completely fair, on the form that Nalby demonstrated in that quarterfinal, he wouldn't be able to beat Rod Laver as he is today, let alone Fed, but still...
