Marcos started the season brilliantly, losing in superb style to Haase in the 1st rd. of Chennai. Oh well.

Meanwhile, over on MTF someone posted an entire gallery of players' photos from Hopman Cup New Year ball. A few observations:

Mardy Fish cleans up pretty well.

Clement in a suit is absolutely unrecognizable. I did a double-take seeng him without one of his bandanas.

Three days into the season and we already have a strong contender for the "fashion disaster of the season" award. Novak's striped suit and pink tie... there. are. no. words.

There's something deadly wrong with Jankovic's face. She's not ugly, per se, but her features are the strangest I've seen on a person, I think. There's something vaguely unhuman in them.
