| So, there were some talk this season about tennis entering its equivalent of Twighlight Zone. With, you know, neither Raja nor Rafa winning a title so far, Roddick getting wins over top 3, and all kinds of interesting characters getting to the finals and winning tournaments. Personally, I thought it was one giant overreaction - up until today. Today Marat won his first ever match from being 2 sets down, and Berdych lost his first ever 5-setter, and it was all in the same match. And I didn't see any of it.
Life is unfair, but damn! Welcome to the Twighlight Zone!
I'd say that Marat is a legend, but I'm sure that somebody somewhere had already pointed that out. |
